Muhammad Sufyan Javed graduated from Chongqing University and obtained PhD in Condensed Matter Physics in 2017. He was awarded the honor of “Chinese Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship” in 2016 by CSC and “Chongqing University Outstanding International Graduates” in 2017.
After the postdoctoral research at Jinan University, he has been working as a Youth Research Professor at the School of Physical Science and Technology, Lanzhou University. He have published more than 225 research articles with over 9000 citations. His research interests include the synthesis of porous materials, 2D materials, and MXenes for energy conversion and storage devices, especially supercapacitors and multi-ion batteries. He have been recognized as the Top 2% scientist in the world in 2022 and 2023 based on the Stanford list Ranking.
