How to Apply for a Student Visa

International students should first get relevant forms from the International Students Office to apply for visa or residence permit. According to the relevant regulations of Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People’s Republic of China, all foreign students should submit their application for visa extension 30 days before expired date.

According to their requirements for visa extension, all students should make an appointment before visa application by calling 023-65106863. If you fail to do so, the immigration office won't accept your visa application. Usually, it takes 7 to 15 working days for the immagration office to process the visa application and make it ready for applicants. So students are strongly advised to keep photocopies of their passport and visa page.
