Accommodation Registration

Foreigners residing in China must complete the housing registration in accordance with Chinese laws and regulations. Specially, within 24 hours after your arrival, you must go to the local police station and complete a temporary housing registration form. If you live on campus A, please go to Shapingba police station. Those who live on campus D, should go to Huxi police station. If you rent an apartment off campus, you must visit the local police station with your lanlord, taking with you the contract and other documents as required.

Please note that if you have renewed your passport or visa, or if there is change of address or residence purpuse, you must follow the housing registration procedures again by reporting to the local police station with necessary documents within 24 hours. If you fail to do so,it will constitute illegal stay.
