International Students Union
The International Students Union (ISU) is a non-profit, non-religious and non-political student organization under the supervision and management of the School of International Education (SIE). The union aims to enhance communication between administrative authority (i.e. SIE) and international students, and to help with their self-management and self-service.
A chairman, two vice chairmen (or a vice-chairman and a secretary general), several department heads and regional representatives are set in the union. Regional representatives are elected by all international students of the region/country, and the chairman is nominated by the regional representatives among them.
Since its establishment, the ISU has been contributing a lot to the daily management of international students and assisted in various activities, such as new students’ registration, the Cultural Festival and the Football League.
